Numbering Services at Dave the Printer

Carbonless Form With Numbering Finish by Dave the Printer

What is numbering on printing?

Numbering your printed item is called numbering service or numbering finish. It refers to printing numbers in sequences on sets on forms, receipts, tickets, and much more. It can be printed in descending or ascending numerical order on paper, carbonless forms, and card stocks. It can also be numbered in a multitude of different colors including red, black and other colors.

The main purpose of sequential numbering is to provide a method for easy reference and improve accounting control. A manufacturer user can use this process for any product that needs a unique identification.

At Dave the Printer we can number on a variety of papers and positions. Give us a call to have your next printed item numbered.

Digital Printing and Numbering

At Dave’s we can print your forms and tickets and in some cases numbers at the same time using Indesign software and its variable data feature. Just like a mail merge, we can set up your document to print and number sequentially at the same time. If your number is to be in red or black both can be done. The advantage of numbering when printing digitally is that we can adjust the font size as well as the actual font used, and the color of the numbers.  This gives your printed piece a unique look!
