What type of printed label is best for you?
Roll labels are made using different materials such as vinyl and paper. The particular roll label material that you choose will depend on your needs and the application the printed label will be placed upon.
Waterproof labels (laminated after printing) are one of our most popular labels because they provide you with vibrant colors and a nice glossy look while protecting your label from being scuffed or damaged by moisture. Waterproof labels are perfect for just about any application, from packaging to bottles. At Dave’s, we don’t charge extra for laminating when printing in full color (CMYK)!
Crack & Peel labels are paper labels where the label has another paper back that is scored (a slight cut in the paper). Fold the label along the scored line until the backing paper cracks, then peel it off to expose the adhesive side, which can stick to almost any surface. Also known as Crack ‘n Peel, these labels are fastest and cheapest for small print jobs. However, they are typically only cost effective when not needed in a die cut shape.
Benefits of using high-quality custom labels and stickers:
Placing labels or stickers directly on your products ensures customers are reminded of your branding and to reorder through your company. Packaging labels help employees and customers alike know what’s inside, quantity, and can even an include an image of the product inside the packaging. When you produce a high-quality printed label it offers your business a great chance to let your customer know that they are getting a high-quality product.
You can choose to make labels for products, packaging, boxes, warnings, custom food labels, bottle and jar labels, die-cut shaped labels all in single colors or in full color.
Paper stickers are very common and come in a plethora of sizes and shapes. They can come on rolls, sheets (for say your office printer or copier), or individual crack & peel label stock. Paper labels are available in gloss, semi-gloss, and both digital and offset paper finish which is perfect for address labels to go on large envelopes and packaging. Offset stickers/labels work great for name badges for event attendees.
Vinyl Labels
Vinyl label material has a sticky back that usually comes on printed rolls. Great for indoors, outdoors or even in a refrigerated environment, vinyl labels retain their look in the harsher environments for much longer than a paper label. Durable and long-lasting is the big benefit of using vinyl stickers and labels! Any shape labels are made from vinyl and die cut using modern laser technology with low minimum quantities.
Custom Labels and Stickers
Before you send out that next package from your business or launch a new product it is important that it is ready to be perceived well by your customers. Instead of labeling your products with one-size-fits-all labels, choose personalized labels. This will increase your business credibility and professionalism.
Just a Few of the Possible Uses for Printed Labels and Stickers:
- Box and packaging labels – hundreds of sizes and shapes available
- Product labeling – bottles, jars, cans, plastic containers, machines and appliances
