Who should I consult with to gather information for a funeral program?

You will likely need to consult the officiant and/or funeral director to ensure you have an accurate understanding of what will happen during the funeral service. Feel free to consult loved ones for anecdotes or preferences of the deceased. And while the funeral home might have templates and vendors, at Dave the Printer we can create a CUSTOM funeral program quickly.

The list below shows an order of service that would usually outline the funeral proceedings.

  • Introduction/Welcoming Words.
  • Prayers or Opening Readings.
  • Music Selection/Hymns.
  • Formal Readings including the Obituary.
  • Moment of Silence.
  • Eulogy or Life Tribute.
  • Informal Tributes.
  • Thank you and Acknowledgements.
